(re)beginning
it took me around 40 days to revamp my whole site. i already had the content, but i started the layout from scratch. the inspiration hit after i saw mei's site i loved the way she structured her pages and asked for her permission to take some inspo. she said yes and i was so happy about it, so i had to leave a lil thank you here to show my appreciation.
but now that i'm done coding... what do i do now? honestly i still have no idea how to promote hitokage or how to get people interested. i've had a couple of ideas but one of them is way too complex and the other one... i'm not even sure it's worth it. so yeah, kinda empty-handed rn.
i wanna be active here on neocities and update my site with new stuff every now and then, but like... what kind of content?? i don't really know. maybe i'll do some monthly recaps or talk about what's going on in my personal life. i'm going on a break from college soon, so i might write something about my experience in the third semester.
since the whole site's in english, now i'm kinda forced to practice more. i finished english classes back in 2021 and haven't practiced with anyone since, so i don't feel as fluent as i used to. maybe i'll share that journey here too, i just don't know if i should do that on the diary page or the articles page... we'll see...
some pages are still under construction and others need more work, like the games journey page on my pokémon shrine.
sure, i spent over a month working on this site, but it's totally possible that i missed a bug or two, so i'm super open to constructive feedback! as for the site's responsiveness, i'm still gonna work on that later 'cause it takes a bit more effort, but i'll get there eventually.
