about the webmaster

hi!! you can call me nana. i'm 24, born on january 8th in brazil. my pronouns are she/her, but i don't really care if you use they/them. i'm an out and proud bisexual who's currently taken. i was diagnosed with bipolar type 2 two years ago and have been in treatment since.

i mostly learned english by myself, but i took some classes a while ago, so i might make mistakes since i don't practice much. if you wanna know my personality, i'm basically uenoyama ritsuka from given. i'm an introvert who listens to music way too much, and that's pretty much it. well, i also like writing and have a (brazilian portuguese) blog. i get random hyperfixations that change super fast. right now, it's pokémon (as y'all can probably tell). if you scroll down, you'll find a list of all my past ones. i don't curse a lot, but it happens, and i probably won't put a warning. sorry in advance.
things i like (♡-_-♡): music, rainy days, cats and spiders, cold weather (even though i live in a tropical country), learning new things, people with a good sense of humor, horror movies, true crime documentaries, thriller books, hot showers, yaoi and yuri, writing random shit, sleeping way more than a normal adult should, the moon and stars, being a fangirl, vampire literature, brazilian memes, charmander!!!!!, dark colors and every shade of purple, emotionless characters finally showing emotions for the first time.
things i hate (#`Д´): capitalism, subtwt, summer, know-it-alls, judgmental and prejudiced people, edgy teenagers, right-wing politics, white chocolate, anything made with coconut, fanaticism, brazilians who underestimate our own culture, pink, delulus.
past hyperfixations
- mbti (jung's theory): back in 2020, i was obsessed with this shit. spent hours reading about it on tumblr (shoutout to funkymbtifiction). people would come to me asking what type they were or what their type even meant. it was fun, even tho i always knew it wasn't scientifically proven. btw, i'm an istp.
- kpop (musical genre): i still listen to kpop a lot, but i'm not as active in the community anymore. i love taeyeon with my whole heart and keep up with her stuff, but that's about it. seventeen was my ult group for almost six years, and i followed so many groups, but after 2022, i kinda drifted away. now i mostly listen to girlgroups and taeyeon. i know groups up to the 4th gen, so don't ask me about the 5th... i have no clue.
- banana fish (anime): this one's a sensitive topic. ash lynx will forever be my favorite character of all time. i've watched and rewatched it a thousand times. yeah, i know it's sad, but it just hits different, and i can't even explain why. i used to be way more obsessed, now i'd say i'm more chill about it, but i still love it. oh, and yeah, i have an ash lynx tattoo :)
- genshin impact (game): you have no idea how much money i've spent on this game. and i wasn't even lucky with my pulls. no regrets tho. played for almost three years, and i was actually pretty good. there was that one time my account got hacked, and i swear i've never been so scared in my life. lore-wise, ningguang was my fave, along with xiao. i've been alhaitham, ayato, childe, hutao and kazuha main. i don't plan on selling my account... who knows, maybe i'll go back someday.
- the sims (game): i played so much sims 3 and 4. fun fact: i played sims 3 for years without expansions or cheats cause i didn't even know they existed. my will to play the sims is very random. i'll go months without touching it, then out of nowhere, i'm downloading it again and playing non-stop for like four days, and then i lose interest all over again. pretty sure that's just the sims experience.
- jujutsu kaisen (anime and manga): i love you gojo. i love you satosugu. it was good up until mid-culling game arc, then it kinda went downhill. the ending was so meh i don't even remember what happened. some characters had so much potential and got wasted. despite everything, i still like akutami. he's funny. hope he actually writes that idol manga he mentioned years ago. anyway, it was a solid two-year obsession mostly focused on gojo and satosugu tbh. i have a gojo shirt, a gojo pillow, a gojo nendoroid... but no, i didn't get a gojo tattoo (almost did tho).
- all for the game (book series): horribly written, but fun as hell. the author used to answer fan questions on tumblr, and i'd spend hours reading them, screenshotting, and posting them on twitter. first book i ever read in english. now that there's a brazilian portuguese edition, i kinda wanna check it out.
- twilight (film & book series): my childhood obsession, ok? probably my first hyperfixation ever. i knew (and still know) entire lines from the movies. i always end up coming back to it. yeah, the books and movies are not good, but idk, there's just something comforting about them. obviously, i'm team edward.
- the 1975 (band): matty healy sucks, but his music doesn't. not my fault he makes bangers. no idea when my t1975 hyperfixation started or ended, but at one point, i was watching a ton of interviews and listening to them 24/7. still love their music tho.
- one direction (band): my entire life revolved around 1d. almost died when zayn left (and i have a super embarrassing story about that day). they were everything to me from ages 12 to 15. and yes, i still listen to their songs a lot. also, liam's death destroyed me.
- justin bieber (singer): don't remember much, but i was a very obsessed child.
- troye sivan (singer): don't remember much either, but i was a very obsessed pre-teen.
- songs i listen to over and over again: there are so many songs i play on repeat until i get sick of them. can't think of many rn, but one i do remember is we don't talk about bruno. yeah... it was my most played song of 2021. people still make fun of me for that, but not my fault it's stupidly catchy!!!
